1819 News president and CEO Bryan Dawson was the subject of critical graffiti discovered Wednesday morning at Movement Church in Madison. Dawson is scheduled to speak on Thursday evening at the church.
Photos of the vandalism sent to 1819 News show spray-painted messages on the side of the church, reading "Bryan Dawson serves the Antichrist" and "Beware his falsehoods."

According to organizers, the event, "Turning Point Night," will "carry forward Charlie Kirk's vision for a generation unafraid to defend faith and freedom."

Seth Adgate, senior pastor at Movement Church, issued a statement about the messages ahead of Dawson's remarks.
"When you're flying over enemy territory, you expect to get shot at," he said. "We'll stay on God's mission standing for truth and righteousness. Also, this message could have been an email."
Madison County Sheriff Kevin Turner also commented on the vandalism.
"Acts of vandalism and intimidation have no place in our community," said Turner. "Every person, regardless of their beliefs or affiliations, deserves to feel safe where they worship, work, or gather."
"We will not tolerate this type of behavior in Madison County," he continued. "Our detectives are working diligently to identify those responsible and ensure they are held accountable. To the citizens of Madison County, please know that this kind of conduct is unacceptable, and we will use every available resource to bring those responsible to justice."
"This is not who we are as a community," Turner added.
Sheriff's detectives with the Madison County Sheriff's Office are actively investigating and working to identify the person or persons responsible.
The graffiti on Movement Church is similar to messages found on the exterior of the establishment that hosted an event with U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in Huntsville.
