Police in Detroit are looking for the driver of a vehicle with an Alabama license plate that they say was involved in a deadly hit-and-run.
A 40-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car early Sunday morning. The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. near the corner of 7 Mile Road and Hoover Street.
Police did not identify the victim or give details on the incident.

The vehicle involved is believed to be a white Kia Sorrento with Alabama license plate number 47AWY72. The license plate appears to be issued out of Madison County.
Detroit Police are asking anyone with information to call 1-800-Speak-Up.
