Carnival’s Spirit will return to Mobile in a few weeks to begin year-round cruises.
Spirit will dock at the Mobile, Alabama, Cruise Terminal on October 28.
Mayor Sandy Stimpson said crews have been busy preparing for the new start by preparing the terminal, improving security features, touching up paint and re-striping the parking lot.
“We want Carnival’s guests to have the best experience possible when they arrive to start their vacations, and one big way we’re doing that is with a new passenger gangway,” Stimpson said. “This larger, air-conditioned walkway promises a more efficient, less stressful embarkation process for passengers. I know the crew at the cruise terminal will also continue to provide some of the best customer service you’ll find at any homeport.”
Since 2023, Carnival Spirit has been cruising passengers from the Port of Mobile six months out of the year. It embarks on trips to the Caribbean Islands, including the Bahamas.
