The City of Madison has elected a new mayor.

Ranae Bartlett, a current city council member, beat out her two opponents, Margi Daly and Steve Smith, in Tuesday's municipal elections, earning 4,581 votes, or 56%.

Michael McKay won City Council District 4 with 656 votes and Kenneth Jackson won District 7 with 706 votes, defeating the incumbent, John Seifer II.

According to unofficial results reported by WHNT, District 6 will likely go to a runoff between Erica White, who received the most votes with 715, and Scott Harbour. The incumbent, Karen Denzine, earned 313 votes, or 20%.
