The head football coach at Clarke County High School is facing 11 charges after being accused of having sex with a student, according to court documents.
Rob Carter is charged with four counts of school employee sex act, four counts of distributing obscene material and three counts of soliciting sex with a student.
According to the indictment, Carter is accused of having sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19 and sending the student photos of his penis. He was arrested in Niceville, Fla. and extradited back to Alabama to be placed in jail.
Carter was placed on administrative leave at Clarke County High School, where he has been the head coach since 2023.
He previously coached at Beauregard High School, where his 2016 team won the 5A State Championship.
