Multiple people were injured in a crash on Tuesday as a Cleburne County deputy was responding to a chase.

The deputy was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 46. The sheriff’s office said the deputy was dispatched to assist the Ranburne Police Department with a foot pursuit.

The deputy and other occupants of the other vehicle involved were taken to the hospital for treatment. The sheriff’s office said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
