Grueling details have emerged in court filings regarding the 2021 kidnapping, murder and posthumous sexual assault of five-year-old Kamarie Holland, whose killer is scheduled for execution in August.
Jeremy Tremaine Williams was sentenced to death in April 2024 after a jury found him guilty on multiple counts related to the brutal kidnapping, murder and posthumous sexual assault of Holland.
Williams later dropped his right to appeal, asking for an expedited execution. Last week, after the Alabama Supreme Court approved, Gov. Kay Ivey set the thirty-hour execution time frame, beginning at midnight on Thursday, August 13.
On Dec. 13, 2021, Kristy Siple, who the sheriff's office initially reported as Christie Hoskins, called to report her daughter, Kamarie Holland, missing. According to the original report from the Russell County Sheriff's Office, Siple claimed she awoke early in the morning to find that her daughter was missing from home.
According to court documents, police were drawn to Williams in the case after interviewing Siple following Holland's reported disappearance.
Police went to Williams' home after a woman, days earlier, accused him of forcibly sodomizing her. During the course of the assault, police say Williams told his victim that he had "taught a five-year-old girl named 'K'" how to perform certain sexual acts.
Police were able to obtain an arrest warrant for the sodomy case and a search warrant for Williams' property in Columbus, Georgia.
Upon investigating, police found a shed in the backyard where, inside, were a "child-sized foam chair and a peanut-butter sandwich that had a child-sized bite taken out of it."
Williams wife then returned home during the search and directed police to the Phenix City property, where Holland's body was found. Williams had already been arrested at this point, but he did not lead the police to the body.
The gruesome details of the scene are described in horrific detail in the court filings, recounting the shock of responding police officers.
Weeks later, on Christmas night, Williams notified the detention staff at the Russell County Jail that he wanted to speak with an officer. Williams stated that he "had been praying the night before" and wanted "to speak about similar crimes [to] get it off of his chest."
During the interview, Williams admitted that he had molested other young girls, though he could not remember all of their names.
Williams also admitted to meeting Siple on an online solicitation website and procuring her company for sex and methamphetamine abuse.
"Williams stated that, on at least one occasion, he had been entrusted with Siple's children while Siple answered a prostitution call," court records state. "This had surprised Williams, because he had already told Siple that he 'liked to have sex with smaller kids.'"
The day Williams took Holland to the Phenix City House, he reportedly "haggled" with Siple over the price for using the five-year-old for sex, which ended up being $2,500.
Photos, videos and Williams' own statements confirmed that Williams' assault of Holland lasted over an hour, and even took place after he strangled her to death, which Williams admitted did not happen quickly.
Siple received a 20-year sentence plus fines for her role.
Williams is slated to die by lethal injection at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore on August 13, barring any further court actions or acts of clemency by Ivey, which is unlikely.
