After escaping with a 24-21 win over Arkansas on homecoming, the University of Alabama football team appeared at No. 11 in this week's Associated Press top 25 college football poll.
This is the third week in a row the Crimson Tide have been rated 11th in the nation, which is three spots behind No. 8 Texas, the only loss on Alabama's record.
The top four spots in the poll remain unchanged from last week with No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Florida State.
Alabama hosts No. 17 Tennessee this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in a game set to air on CBS. The Volunteers are coming off a 20-13 win over Texas A&M.
Tennessee ended its 15-game losing skid to the Tide last year in a high-scoring affair that featured two talented quarterbacks who have gone on to the NFL.
No other teams from Alabama appeared in this week's poll.
