A spa owner accused of 25 felony and misdemeanor crimes, including drug trafficking, forgery and practicing medicine without a license, has posted a $1,055,000 bond, according to media reports.

Whitney Cheatham, the operator of Infusion Wellness Spa in Cullman, was charged after a search warrant was executed at the business in August. Cheatham was accused of forging prescriptions.

Cheatham’s father, Kelvin Cheatham, and estranged husband Kody Smith were also arrested in connection with what authorities called a “conspiracy.”

Kelvin Cheatham and Smith are both facing 11 charges, including criminal conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime and fraud.

The Cullman Police Department, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, Cullman County District Attorney Champ Crocker, the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles and the U.S. Marshal’s Service worked on the cases.

All parties are considered innocent until proven guilty.
