The illegal immigrant living in Alabama, who was arrested for double murder and for kidnapping a 12-year-old girl who escaped his home, has admitted to killing his girlfriend and her son.

According to court documents, José Paulino Pascual-Reyes, 37, gave self-incriminating information about the deaths of Sandra Vazquez Ceja, 29, and her juvenile son in more than one statement.

Pascual-Reyes was arrested after Dadeville authorities were alerted that the 12-year-old girl was walking alone on the street and was found by a motorist.

The girl directed police to Pascual-Reyes' residence, where two dismembered, decomposing bodies were found.

According to court documents, the surviving girl was drugged and tied to a bedpost for over a week before her escape.

Prosecutors revealed the incriminating statements in a motion that asked a judge to order Pascual-Reyes to provide a DNA sample for comparison with evidence found at the home.

According to Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett, Pascual-Reyes and Ceja lived together as a couple. The escaped girl and deceased boy are Cejas's children, but their names have not been released.

Pascual-Reyes has been jailed without bond on charges including capital murder, kidnapping and corpse abuse. He has not entered a plea.
