Class 1A girls championship game: Spring Garden 62, Marion County 39.

Class 1A boys championship game: Covenant Christian Academy 50, Oakwood Adventist Academy 46.

Class 7A girls semifinals: Hoover 87, Prattville 39; Sparkman 53, Foley 31.

Class 7A boys semifinals: Hoover 53, Dothan 41; Central-Phenix City 61, Spain Park 58.

Game of the day (boys): Central-Phenix City and Spain Park battled down to the final play. Spain Park had an open 3-pointer in the final seconds but was unable to knock it down, and the Red Devils escaped with a 61-58 win. Sam Wright had 25 points and six rebounds in the loss for Spain Park.

Game of the day (girls): Sparkman started slow and finished with a flourish in the 53-31 Class 7A semifinal win over Foley. Sparkman won the battle in second-chance points (20-8) and points in the paint (24-12). Kennedy Langham had 25 points and five 3-pointers.

Performance of the day (boys): Central-Phenix City sophomore Jacoby Hill had 32 points, eight rebounds, three assists and a steal. The 6-foot-7 Hill was 11 of 17 from the field, 4 of 7 on 3-pointers and 6 of 6 from the free throw line.

Performance of the day (girls): Hoover standout Reniya Kelly had 18 points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists in the Bucs blowout victory over Prattville.
