Democratic candidate for governor Ja'mel Brown called officers with the Tallassee Police Department racist, unethical and corrupt after a video of a traffic stop and arrest was posted on social media.

The video, posted by Jakiya Moore, one of the three arrested, shows officers ordering occupants of a truck out of the vehicle. An officer used a Taser on at least one of the subjects who refused to get out.

According to the Tallassee Tribune, L. Cunningham, 24, of Tallassee, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing a governmental operation and second-degree possession of marijuana.

K. Williams, 24, of Tallassee, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental operations and second-degree possession of marijuana.

Moore was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree possession of marijuana.

Although Moore claimed in the video that nothing was in the truck after it was pulled over for an expired tag, police said three firearms and drugs were recovered.

"A vehicle was stopped on Gilmer Avenue for an expired tag," Lt. Matthew Manning told the paper. "As officers approached the vehicle, they could smell marijuana. The occupants of the vehicle immediately became irate and refused to cooperate."

However, Brown took to social media to threaten legal action after he bailed Moore out of jail on Thursday.

"Tallassee, Alabama has some of the MOST racist, unethical, corrupt POLICE in ALABAMA!!!!" Brown posted. "I'm gonna use EVERY LEGAL AVENUE to make sure these COPS are held accountable by the State of Alabama."

Moore later posted the story on Facebook, stating, "Still sexy."

After receiving negative feedback, Brown stated in a video, "Y'all can't stop me. You can't stop me, you can't block me. I'm the biggest, I'm the baddest there is. It's just that simple and I am unstoppable. When you come against me, you coming against God. You coming against Heaven."

Brown then said he was going to legalize marijuana on the first day in office because "everybody smoke a little bud." He later posted a video "twerking" at the governor's mansion

The three suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty. They have all bonded out of the Elmore County Jail.
