U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) tore into Democrats on Wednesday over U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen's (D-Md.) trip to El Salvador to bring back suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was recently deported.
Van Hollen framed Garcia as being "illegally abducted," while Border czar Tom Homan maintains that Garcia is "an MS-13 gang member, classified as a terrorist that was removed from this country."
The White House criticized Van Hollen for going on "an international mission to bring a deported illegal immigrant back to America" but no meeting with the family of Maryland mother Rachel Morin, who was killed by an illegal alien MS-13 gang member while hiking on a trail northeast of Baltimore.
Tuberville said of Van Hollen's trip, "Democrats are a disgrace."
"They prioritize illegal immigrant criminals over the safety of American citizens," he added.
