In a social media post, U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) accused Democrats of turning a blind eye to the widespread fraud currently being uncovered in Minnesota.

The lawmaker specifically criticized the left for allowing taxpayers' money to disappear through fraud schemes tied to childcare facilities and questionable programs, while also crediting a journalist for shedding light on the shocking situation.

"Billions in taxpayer dollars were allegedly stolen through fake childcare and welfare programs in Minnesota while Democrats in power looked the other way," Moore said on X. "Independent journalist Nick Shirley and a local investigator who goes by the name David helped expose this mess so the American people can finally see the truth," said Moore.

Moore, a candidate for U.S. Senate, pledged to address such fraud if elected.

"As I run for the U.S. Senate, I'll fight for a full federal investigation into these scams, stronger support for ICE and law enforcement, and real accountability for anyone who abuses our system. Taxpayers deserve better, and I will continue fighting for them like I have in Congress," he added.

In the post that has now generated over 120 million views, Shirley claims to have discovered more than $110,000,000 in fraud in a single day involving Minnesota child care facilities.
