The Orange Beach Police Department investigated a drowning Saturday after a man cleaning his boat was reported missing.

Police responded around 1 p.m. after someone reported the man, a diver, was cleaning his boat and had not resurfaced since 7:30 a.m. Multiple crews responded and recovered the body.

The man's identity has not been released, but Lt. Trent Johnson with the Orange Beach Police Department said he was from Louisiana.

The body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy. No foul play is suspected.
