A Dothan man has been charged with 33 counts of sex-related crimes after police investigated claims that an adult male had inappropriate contact with juveniles.
The investigation led the Dothan Police Department to Jason Dean Burdeshaw, who was originally charged with two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes on April 19.
Additional evidence led to Burdeshaw being charged with 31 other sex crimes, including two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, 10 counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree rape and 17 counts of second-degree sodomy.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and they will not release any further information due to juvenile privacy.
Burdeshaw is considered innocent until proven guilty.
