This year marks the 75th anniversary of National Day of Prayer which will be May 7. There are over three dozen events throughout the state. This years theme is “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.”

- 62nd Annual Greater Birmingham Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM at the Harbert Center. Organizers are saying, "We are honored to welcome Lieutenant General A.C. Roper, Ret., as our keynote speaker. His message of wisdom and inspiration will be a meaningful part of this year’s program."
- Republican Women of North Shelby County 8:00 AM at the Inverness Country Club. The event hosted by the Republican Women of North Shelby will include featured speakers Kaleb and Anna Dillard, Christian authors of "Who the Son Sets Free," a husband and wife's inspirational true account of January 6. Organizers are saying, "They are passionate about speaking out against the cultural darkness that so many are facing in modern-day America. Come hear their story, you will be inspired."
- Student-Led Prayer Gathering – Clark-Shaw High School 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Student lead prayer over the "Seven Mountains of Influence" and for leaders in the City of Mobile, including schools, first responders, pastors, and the community.
- City of Mobile Alabama Glorifying God! 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM at the historic USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park to Glorify God.
There are additional events planned in Tuscaloosa, Sylacauga, Spanish Fort, Faulkville, Blunt County and other cities around the state.
