For the nation’s 250th birthday, Eagle Forum of Alabama is offering the America 250 Challenge.
The purpose is to celebrate and rediscover the nation's story. The challenge will help the nation’s next generation learn about America’s founding, explore key historical events and documents, celebrate the ideals of liberty and self-government and take part in the Revolutionary Era games and activities.
Eagle Forum of Alabama said the meaningful journey will focus on history, civics and the principles that shaped our Republic.
“Whether you’re a student, homeschool family, parent, grandparent, or patriot who loves our country, this challenge is a great way to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary and pass on our heritage to the next generation,” the organizations stated. “As we prepare for the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, let’s honor the enduring spirit of the American people and ensure that future generations understand the blessings of freedom.”
The activities include coloring, trivia, family games and discussions. New activities are introduced each month.
The challenge is available online.
