U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) on Wednesday picked up an endorsement from the political action committee connected to the national organization Eagle Forum in his race for Alabama's first congressional district.
Eagle Forum cited Moore's record of upholding the values important to Alabamians. The organization also noted the Republican congressman had a 100% on Eagle Forum’s scoreboard, which he got for voting "to protect life, secure our nation’s borders, keep woke agendas out of schools, and establish fiscal responsibility in the federal government."
"As a member of the House Freedom Caucus, he has fought the Left’s attacks on American values. He has advocated tirelessly for the principles that make our country exceptional," Eagle Forum added.
“Representative Barry Moore will elevate the voices of those in Alabama’s First District to ensure they will not be overlooked by the federal government,” said Eagle Forum president Kris Ullman. “I encourage everyone to vote for Moore on March 5th.”
Moore called the endorsement "an honor."
“It is truly an honor to receive the endorsement from Eagle Forum, a group that has stood for conservative principles and family values for many decades," he said in an announcement. "Eagle Forum doesn’t back down in their fight to save America and I’m proud to be recognized by them for my strong stance for border security, protecting innocent life, supporting parental rights, and getting Washington’s runaway spending under control.”
