ORANGE BEACH — This year's second Trump boat parade through the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) was successful on Saturday.
The Baldwin County Republican Party sponsored the event, and dozens of boats participated. With only weeks to go until the general election, groups of people lined the canal to cheer on President Donald Trump.
We live in the coolest place on earth," said Eastern Shore Republican Women president Judy Barlow. "It was energizing to be on the water with Trump supporters, witnessing the crowd lining the road in anticipation. There is palpable excitement for change."
An after-party was planned with live music outside of YoHo Rum & Tacos.
The first parade of the year was organized by Saltwater Finaddicts in August.
