The Elmore County Republican Party announced that it will hold its annual dinner next week to raise funds for college scholarships.
According to the announcement, the Elmore County Republican annual scholarship banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 11, at the Wetumpka Civic Center from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event recognizes some of Elmore County's brightest high school seniors. Three seniors will be honored with college scholarship money.
State Attorney General Steve Marshall will be the event's guest speaker, and 1819 News president and CEO Bryan Dawson will serve as the emcee.
Tickets, which will help fund the event, go toward scholarships and getting Republicans elected in Elmore County, can be purchased here. Dinner will be provided.
