Earlier this week, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) learned the Biden administration had been spying on his and seven other Republican senators' personal phone records.
The surveillance, part of an investigation codenamed "Arctic Frost," was intended to connect the lawmakers to the events of January 6, 2021 in Washington, D.C.
Tuberville spoke to reporters about the issue on Thursday, revealing that there has been no shortage of whistle blowers coming forward, willing to shine a light on the actions of the Biden Administration and its Department of Justice.
“This is the same DOJ that raided President Trump's home, spied on Catholic churches, and arrested pro-life supporters,” Tuberville told members of the media.
“I have a feeling that this week's report is only the tip of the iceberg of how deep the corruption was under Joe Biden's administration," he continued. "Thank goodness for whistleblowers. They're coming out of the woodwork.”
Biden DOJ prosecutor Jack Smith particularly drew the ire of Tuberville.
“Every single person involved in this witch hunt needs to go to jail,” the lawmaker stated. “And Smith, he shouldn't be allowed to serve as dog catcher after this.”
“It's an embarrassment for our country,” Tuberville added.
