ENTERPRISE – Following a prolonged manhunt, Enterprise Police captured Shannon Scott Anthony at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Anthony was found hiding in an abandoned pickup truck in the woods behind Mitchell Dodge dealership on Bowl Weevil Circle.
Anthony was armed and only surrendered after hours of negotiation. He had been on the run since early Friday morning after escaping a police standoff at a residence.
He was wanted for burglary, certain persons forbidden to possess firearms and two counts of menacing.
