Marjean Corkran, an Enterprise State Community College English professor, was caught boasting online about pushing an agenda onto her students.
"Am I trying to indoctrinate my students in my liberal, progressive values?" Corkran asked, replying to herself, "Sure the f--- am," according to a WTVY News 4 report.
The post is just one of several alarming ones that have been reported as posted on TikTok but are now unavailable for public viewing. Her Facebook profile image features a banner that displays a U.S. flag with rainbow-colored stripes and the words, "We the people, No Kings in America."
According to News 4, in a video criticizing Charlie Kirk and the attention his death received, Corkran, appearing angry, said, "Let us not forget some other children were shot in another (expletive) school today," referring to a Colorado shooting on Wednesday, the same day Kirk died while addressing those who rallied at a Utah university.
The university president's office did not return a call from 1819 News.
Students' comments on the website Rate My Professors note her divisive comments, with one saying, "Passionate about the lectures but very unprofessional as an instructor. Uses foul language and finds pretexts to integrate personal political/anti-religious views OFTEN. If students disagree, theyve been indoctrinated, so she takes upon herself to enlighten them. Its uncalled for and a bit exhausting. She could be less condescending/derisive."
A second student wrote, "Professor claims to be honest and blunt, but really she clearly thinks her opinion is more important than others and does not have respect and courtesy for others opinions. She Claims to be tolerant and liberal, but that is only true if it suits her purpose and if you agree with her."
The News 4 described a video in which they say, "During her comments, the English professor said she was tenured, which could make disciplinary action more challenging for administrators.
She asked, presumably to those school administrators, "What the (expletive) you going to do about it?"
