Eufaula voters within municipal limits will have to head to the polls again in September to vote in a mayoral runoff election.
Incumbent Mayor Jack Tibbs, Jr. received 46% of the vote to Chris Beam's 43.3%. Since no candidate received more than 50% of the votes, a runoff will be held on September 23.
Councilman Otis Hill will stay in his District 2 seat after receiving 51.5% of the vote. James Bailey won the District 4 seat with 54.5%.
