The family of a missing teen in Barbour County discovered remains during an organized search.
The Eufaula Police Department said Markavious Rumph, 18, was last seen getting into a black Nissan at the Beeline #3 Gas Station on May 6. His family organized and began searching.
The remains were found on Monday near White Oak Church Road. WTVM spoke with family members who said it appeared the body had been dismembered and set on fire.
Police are processing the scene and are working to positively identify the remains.
