The woman who dressed in a penis costume and protested at a Fairhope No Kings rally is now facing two additional charges as she prepares to appear in court.
Jeana Renea Gamble, 62, was already charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, but the City has now added charges of giving officers a false name and violating a municipal ordinance.
"Jeanna Gambvle unlawfully disturbed the peace of others by offensive or boisterous conduct, or by conduct or language calculated to provoke a breach of peace," charging documents state.
Gamble, who admittedly was dressed in a giant penis costume at the rally last October, was arrested after refusing to remove the costume or leave the area. The incident was caught on camera and showed Gamble telling officers her name was "Antifa" after they asked her to identify herself.
Gamble is scheduled to appear before a municipal judge at 2 p.m. on April 1.
The defense maintains the arrest was unlawful and Gamble had the right to resist arrest.
