The City of Fairhope has clarified charges against a woman dressed as a penis at a No Kings protest last October.
Jeana Renea Gamble, 62, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest when police arrived at the scene on Greeno Road near Fairhope Avenue.

In a newly filed statement, municipal court prosecutor Marcus McDowell accused Gamble of engaging in disorderly conduct “with the intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm.”
McDowell stated to the court that the defendant was using “abusive or obscene language, conduct or gestures dressed as a giant erect penis.”
Police claim they received calls concerning traffic hazards and when asked to remove the costume or leave the location, McDowell said Gamble “intentionally attempted to prevent the officer from affecting [sic] a lawful arrest,” and provided false identifying information.
In a video released by the defendant’s attorney, Gamble can be heard saying her name was Antifa.
Gamble reportedly maintains a social media presence on Threads. She joked about needing an Antifa attorney following the arrest.

The City clarified that the alleged actions violated municipal ordinance 1240.
The defense maintains the arrest was unlawful and Gamble had the right to resist arrest.
The case is set to go before the court on March 4.
