U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) will fundraise for U.S. Rep. Shomari Figures (D-Mobile) in Atlanta today.
Crockett, an ardent critic of the Trump administration, recently claimed white supremacists were responsible for 80% of violent crime in America. She also has said DEI pushback was a product of "white tears" from "mediocre white boys."
Figures is in his first term in Congress. In the 2024 general election, he defeated Caroleene Dobson, a Republican, in the redrawn Congressional District 2.
News of the fundraiser was first reported by Punchbowl News.
According to the outlet, tickets for the fundraiser range from $500 to $6,600.
