The FBI arrested six individuals in Escambia County on Tuesday in an immigration enforcement action.

According to FBI Mobile, one of the subjects had previously been arrested for homicide and kidnapping.

"An immigration enforcement action today in Escambia County resulted in six arrests," FBI Mobile announced on X. "One of the subjects had priors for homicide and kidnapping."

"Removing violent offenders from our communities remains of the utmost priority," FBI Mobile added.

Parker Still, Supervisory Special Agent over the Gulf of America Homeland Securtiy Task Force, told 1819 News all of the arrests were immigration-related.

“One of the individuals that was arrested this morning, we’ve noticed they’ve previously entered the country eleven times. Between that and the individual who had the extensive criminal history, and that was just one individual, another one had multiple DUIs. Again, dangerous individuals that we needed to take action on as we did this morning,” Still said.
