On Wednesday, FBI Mobile announced the arrest of six suspected members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
The Mobile Police Department, Homeland Security, ATF and Border Patrol participated in the investigation.
"A giant thanks to our state, local, and federal partners," the FBI posted on Facebook.
Tren de Aragua, a designated foreign terrorist organization, has dominated headlines nationwide this week following the U.S. Supreme Court decision to allow President Donald Trump to deport members.
That decision was made after a decision by U.S. District Judge James Boasberg initially blocked the deportations.
Trump is using the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to execute the deportations.
