After just one game into Kalen DeBoer's second season in Tuscaloosa, Paul Finebaum thinks Alabama needs to get Nick Saban out of retirement and off the "College GameDay" set immediately.
Monday on ESPN's "Get Up," Finebaum was asked if he would agree with his radio show callers if they called for Saban to un-retire and get back on the Crimson Tide sidelines.
Finebaum called attention to how "soft" and "undisciplined" the Tide looked in stark contrast to how they were under Saban.
"If someone calls up your show today and says Nick Saban needs to un-retire and return to Alabama and coach this team, would that be fact or fiction?" host Mike Greenberg asked.
"That would be fact," Finebaum replied. "Bring him back. Get him off the GameDay set, put him out there today. Don't waste a moment."

"It was that bad," he added. "This team is soft, they're undisciplined."
Despite now being ESPN colleagues, Finebaum said Saban was "wasting his time on GameDay" and urged his bosses to free him from his contract with the network so he could be back on the sidelines this Saturday.
