Edward Waters at Miles College (Thursday, 6 p.m.) … Miles College is still searching for its first home victory in its final game at Sloan-Alumni Stadium this season.
Arkansas at Auburn (11 a.m., SEC Network) … Both teams are coming off a bye. More importantly, Auburn made it through the bye week without a coaching change.
Greensboro at Huntingdon (1 p.m.) … Greensboro allows 44 points and 510 yards per game.
Hendrix College at Birmingham Southern (1 p.m.) … Hendrix College allowed 27 sacks in the first seven games. Could be a chance for defensive end Garrett Smith (five sacks) and the Panthers to get after the quarterback.
Tuskegee at Kentucky State (1 p.m.) … A winning streak will end. Tuskegee won the past six games. Kentucky State is on a four-game winning streak.
Samford at The Citadel (1 p.m., ESPN+) … Scoring points has been a struggle for The Citadel offense but the Bulldogs from South Carolina are coming off a 34-point performance in a win over Western Carolina.
Cumberland at Faulkner (1:30 p.m.) … Faulkner hasn’t scored more than a touchdown in a game the past three games.
Alabama A&M vs. Alabama State at Legion Field (2:30 p.m., ESPN) … Obviously, there are plenty of things to look forward to during Magic City Classic week. The game is what ultimately takes center stage. Alabama A&M is riding a three-game winning streak. Alabama State head coach Eddie Robinson Jr. was 3-1 as a player against Alabama A&M.
Jacksonville State at Austin Peay (3 p.m., ESPN+) … Jacksonville State likes to run the football. Austin Peay allows 78 rushing yards per game. Any guess on the key to this game?
South Alabama at Arkansas State (3 p.m., ESPNU) … The Jaguars need to get past the “Battle for the Belt” loss and get back on track. Arkansas State is struggling under Butch Jones.
UNA at Central Arkansas (4 p.m.) … It might not match the total points output in UNA’s most recent game but there is nothing to suggest this won’t be another high-scoring matchup.
West Alabama at West Florida (4 p.m.) … West Florida is a double-overtime loss to Delta State away from being unbeaten.
UAB at FAU (6 p.m., CBS Sports Network) … What can UAB do to snap a three-game losing streak on the road? Avoiding turnovers is a good start
Bye: Troy, Alabama
*-All games are Saturday, unless noted
