The only championship game win came in 2009.

Notes: Saraland’s starting lineup is peppered throughout with talented sophomores. … Saraland made the championship game in 2014 and 2018 but has never won a state title. … Mountain Brook’s state championships came in 1975 and 1976.  Running back Major Oglivie, who went on to star at Alabama, was an all-state player on both of the championship teams. … Mountain Brook allowed 50 points in four playoff games with the bulk coming in a 49-30 quarterfinal win over Hartselle.
