Missouri at Auburn (11 a.m., ESPN) … Can a win in the SEC opener help stem the anger building on the Plains? Can Auburn find the formula to win its SEC opener is probably the better question. It will take a lot more than a win over Missouri to bring good vibes for where Auburn is as a program under Bryan Harsin right now.

Miles College at Central State (Noon) … Central State has lost the last two games by a combined nine points. Miles College’s two most recent losses came by a combined 79 points.

Belhaven at Huntingdon (1 p.m.) … Belhaven has seven passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns in two games. Huntingdon’s defense, which played well on Saturday, has a difficult challenge.

Allen University vs. Tuskegee at Cramton Bowl ( 1 p.m.) … Tuskegee carries the momentum of coming off a win for the first time this season.

University of the Cumberlands at Faulkner (1:30 p.m.) … Faulkner averaging just 236 yards and 18 points per game.

Western Carolina at Samford (2 p.m., ESPN3) … Samford is feeling good about itself heading into Southern Conference play. These teams combined for 79 points and 1,030 yards in Samford’s win over Western Carolina last season.

West Georgia at West Alabama (2 p.m.) … West Alabama struggled offensively on Saturday. Now they face a defense that allowed seven points in the first two games.

Jacksonville State at Nicholls (3 p.m.) … What will the Gamecocks’ quarterback rotation look like against winless Nicholls?

Alabama A&M at Florida A&M (5 p.m., ESPN+) … Bulldogs still searching for their first win as they enter SWAC play.

Prairie View A&M at Alabama State (5 p.m.) … Alabama State had a week off to heal bumps and bruises and get ready for the SWAC.

Louisiana Tech at South Alabama (6 p.m., ESPN+) … The Jaguars need to regroup quickly with the Bulldogs coming to town.

Marshall at Troy (6 p.m., NFL Network) … Marshall followed the win at Notre Dame with a loss at Bowling Green. Explain that one. Troy has to shove the hurt of losing on a Hail Mary at Appalachian State behind them and get ready for another tough game.

Tarleton State at UNA (6 p.m., ESPN+) … Tarleton State quarterback Beau Allen began his college career at Kentucky.

Point University at Birmingham-Southern (6 p.m.) … Panthers had the week off to prepare for a team still searching for the first win.

Vanderbilt at Alabama (6:30 p.m., SEC Network) … After four games, Vanderbilt is halfway toward reaching bowl eligibility. The Commodores won’t get any closer this week.
