MONTGOMERY — Mobile pastor Travis Johnson had harsh words following the news that State Rep. Scott Stadthagen (R-Hartselle) resigned from his majority leader position.
"FORCED OUT!" Johnson posted on X.
"Majority Leader @ScottStadthagen, the most conservative Republican State House Majority Leader in Alabama's history, has been forced out of Majority Leader post."

Johnson, the pastor of Pathway Church in Mobile, posted a photo of himself with Stadthagen.
Days before his resignation, Stadthagen took a leave of absence as majority leader after announcing his intention to run for Alabama Republican Party chairman.
