The former pastor of All Nations Worship Assembly (ANWA) in Huntsville entered a plea agreement admitting to a scheme to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars from the church for his personal benefit.

According to federal charging documents, Adrian Davis served as lead pastor and marketing consultant for ANWA and received a salary and a parsonage.

Between 2018 and 2022, Davis admitted to defrauding the church out of money by "means of materially false pretenses, representations and promises."

Investigators believe Davis used church funds without authority for his personal benefit. Among items purchased with ANWA were an Audi A7, a GMC Yukon and jewelry. Davis is also accused of paying for his mother's mortgage and paying on his personal credit cards with church funds. Purchases made on those credit cards included $10,000 to Louis Vuitton and thousands to other retailers and entertainment companies.

Per the plea agreement, Davis agreed to plead guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of filing a false tax return. He agreed to pay restitution of over $434,000 to ANWA and nearly $115,000 to the IRS.

In addition to fines, Davis faces more than 23 years in prison and up to four years of supervised release. In exchange for the guilty plea, the government stated it will seek a lower-level sentence.

Davis will be sentenced at a later date.
