Former State Sen. Jimmy Holley, 80, died on Monday.
According to a Hayes Funeral Home obituary, Holley passed away peacefully at the Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Holley served in the House from 1974 to 1994 and the Senate from 1998 to 2022. He didn’t seek re-election in 2022.
