A former reporter at WTVM in Columbus, Ga., which covers multiple east Alabama counties, was one of the people arrested in the Minneapolis church protest, according to the television station.
Georgia Fort, now working as an independent journalist, live-streamed the moments federal agents arrived at her home to take her into custody.
Fort was a reporter and weekend news anchor at WTVM from 2015 to 2017. She went by Georgia Ellyse.
Fort said she was working as a member of the press and covering the protest on January 18. She has also appeared on CNN since the death of Renee Good on January 7.
