The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) announced multiple arrests in consecutive days, which brought a total of four people arrested and charged with trying to bring contraband into Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton.
On Tuesday, someone reported a trespassing incident at the prison, prompting an investigation by law enforcement. An ADOC K-9 unit stopped a “suspicious vehicle” allegedly driven by Sabrina Nicole Johnson. Another man was found hiding at the edge of the woods alongside a nearby roadway, identified as Jasmine Kendale Williams, a former ADOC inmate.

The pair was arrested and booked into the Barbour County Jail. Both are charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana, promoting prison contraband in the first, second, and third Degrees, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trespassing about prisons.
The following day, two additional arrests were made at the same facility when ADOC K-9 officers responded to a “vehicle of interest” following a trespassing incident earlier this month.
ADOC officers and the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was identified as Eryana Me ‘Cole Amison. After questioning, police determined there was a second person near the facility associated with Amison. The second trespasser, identified as Terrell Demarion Clements, was allegedly located near the facility with a grey plastic bag containing two packages wrapped in black tape.

Police recovered nearly 300 grams of marijuana, five cell phones with charger cables, a wall charging block, and a SIM card removal tool.
The pair was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband in the first and second degrees and first-degree possession of marijuana.
