Longtime Mobile residents Eddie Santana. Sr., 69, and wife Ileana, 66, are missing in the Texas hill country flood, along with their daughter-in-law Camille Santana, 38, and granddaughter Mila Santana, 5.
The two Santana grandparents went to Kerrville, Texas, before the July 4th weekend to a rented cabin on the Guadalupe River with their son, Eddie Santana, Jr. and his family.
Floodwaters hit the cabin on July 4th, sweeping it away. Both grandparents, the daughter-in-law and grandchild remain missing as of Monday.
On his Facebook page, son Michael Santana posted a story about his missing family members.
Eddie Santana Jr. was found safe and discharged from a Texas hospital on Sunday morning.
A message posted by Joe Bullard Automotive identified Michael Santana as a former employee.
At least 81 have been killed in the July 4th flooding that hit multiple counties in the Texas hill country along the Guadalupe River. This includes a confirmed 27 deceased staff and children who were attending Camp Mystic, a girls' camp also located along the river.

Eddie Jr. and Eddie Sr. were awakened and found that their cabin was surrounded by water from the rising Guadalupe River. Both men attempted to open the front door of the cabin while trying to exit, but were unable to do so. They opened the cabin’s back door, which immediately allowed water to flow inside.
The cabin was then carried downriver. Eddie Jr. was able to grab onto a passing tree and woke up in the hospital in serious condition.
