On Saturday, Fox News revealed seven GOP senators who are allegedly 'skeptical or opposed' to using the talking filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act.

Legislators on the list included: Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) and U.S Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), John Curtis (R-Utah), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Alabama's Katie Britt (R-Montgomery).

Shortly after the Fox News broadcast, the list began circulating on social media, and Britt directly addressed the claim, calling it "blatantly false."

"I have been working with @BasedMikeLee to find the votes and path forward to pass the SAVE America Act, which includes the talking filibuster," wrote Britt on X.

Later in the broadcast day, Fox News corrected the record, which included an acknowledgement from Lee.

If passed, the SAVE America Act would require a photo ID to vote, proof of citizenship to register to vote, and the removal of noncitizens from existing voter rolls. Currently, the legislation lacks the 60 votes required to pass a bill, forcing conservatives to consider a talking filibuster.
