Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson sent out this invitation:
The City of Mobile Events Department is inviting you to get your groove on at a new, live music event in downtown Mobile. On Saturday, May 31, we’re kicking off a brand-new concert series called “Gulf Coast Grooves” with live musical performances in Mardi Gras Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. If you come for the live music, you’re going to want to stay for the good food and camaraderie. It’ll be a night to remember!
The first Gulf Coast Grooves event will feature Alto Moon, a pop and R&B group, followed by country and pop artist Conor Clemmons. You can enjoy both shows for FREE! If you’re looking to get comfortable, chairs and blankets are allowed. However, tents, glass bottles, and coolers are not.
This is yet another spectacular program put on by our dynamic Events Department. It’s always exciting to see their hard work manifest itself as a new event or experience for Mobilians to enjoy.
For dates and entertainers as future concerts are scheduled, check City of Mobile: Events.
