The future of Alabama is total Republican representation in Congress after a favorable U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruling on Alabama redistricting on Monday, according to U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise).

SCOTUS struck down a 2023 federal court-ordered Alabama congressional map on Monday.

Moore said on Facebook on Monday after the ruling, “The Supreme Court’s decision is a major victory for Alabama and for the rule of law. I commend the Alabama Legislature for passing a conservative 6-1 map that protects Alabama values and gives our state stability moving forward, but we need more.”

“I was drawn out of my original district after courts forced Alabama into a map designed to dilute conservative representation by adding just enough Democrat voters to flip a seat. Thousands of conservatives lost their voice in the process,” Moore said. “Alabama is a red state, and our Congressional map should reflect the conservative values of the people who live here. While state lawmakers have said there will not be another special session, I still believe the future of Alabama should be a 7-0 Republican delegation that truly represents our state. Let's paint it RED!”
