With the long-time "Rick & Bubba Show" morning drive radio program ending next month, Bill "Bubba" Bussey is turning his focus to podcasting beginning in 2025.

Bussey is launching "Bubba on the Lake," which is set to begin in 2025.

"It's time to grab your floaties and join me on the lake," Bussey said in the announcement. "I've had the privilege of being part of the Rick and Bubba family for over three decades, and while that chapter is coming to a close, the fun and laughter aren't going anywhere. I'm excited to bring back the kind of unfiltered humor and real talk that so many people have enjoyed over the years, only now, it's on my own terms, and I can't wait to share it with everyone."

Earlier this year, Bussey was hired as the assistant athletic director for broadcasting at Jacksonville State University.

Bussey's co-host Rick Burgess will start the "Rick Burgess Show" next year.
