The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information leading to the arrest of a gunman who opened fire at the Grand Bay Horse Show on Saturday.

Investigators said two bystanders were struck and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies determined a black man, standing approximately 6 feet, 2 inches and weighing around 130 pounds, fired shots during an altercation. The suspect had shoulder-length dreadlocks, a goatee and tattoos on his left arm.

A male victim was shot in the abdomen, and a woman was shot in the leg. Both injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Anyone with information on the gunman is asked to contact investigators at 251-574-8633.

The 2025 horse show ended in a brawl, shooting and stabbing.
