Joshua McKee raised $293,258 in the last quarter of 2025 for his campaign for the Republican nomination in Congressional District 1.

McKee has raised $339,761 so far this election cycle. His cash on hand balance is $265,355.

Joshua McKee, a Green Beret veteran, said,  "I am incredibly humbled by the outpouring of support from across the district."

"For 25 years as a Green Beret, I lived by the creed of 'De Oppresso Liber'— to liberate the oppressed. In Washington, I will fight just as hard to liberate our veterans from a bureaucracy that has failed them for too long,” McKee said. “These fundraising numbers represent major grassroots support from Alabamians who believe it’s time for a combat veteran who understands sacrifice to have a seat at the table. Our veterans deserve a champion who will ensure they receive the care and respect they earned, and I am ready to lead that charge."

Former U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile), State Rep. Rhett Marques (R-Enterprise), and Jimmy Dees have also qualified to run for the Republican nomination for the seat. The primary is on May 19.
