The Tuskegee Police Department arrested 10 of 11 suspects in connection with an organized retail theft.
At around 11:30 a.m. On Tuesday, a group of adults entered a store in the 2800 block of West Martin Luther King Highway, filled shopping carts full of merchandise. The suspects then left the store without paying.
Items stolen included household goods, alcoholic beverages and laundry detergent.
Police have arrested most of the suspects and charged them with felony organized retail theft. They are asking the public with help locating the 11th suspect. Anyone who can identify the remaining suspect is asked to call police investigations at (334) 727-0200. Tipsters may call anonymously to CrimeStoppers at (334) 215-STOP (7867).
