The Priceville Police Department has charged a North Alabama man with trafficking stolen identities and various drug-related offenses following a traffic stop.

According to the department, Richard Bradley Mackusick, 45, of Gurley, was stopped early Tuesday morning by a police K-9 unit near the intersection of Point Mallard Parkway and Marsha Avenue. After Mackusick pulled over, law enforcement discovered that he had a no-bond nationwide extradition warrant from the U.S. Marshals Service for a probation violation relating to a prior weapons charge.

Following the traffic enforcement portion of the stop, Mackusick was found to be in possession of a quantity of generic Viagra, Suboxone, drug paraphernalia, and an assortment of checks, debit cards, credit cards, driver's licenses, and social security cards belonging to various individuals.

Priceville Police arrested Mackusick, who now faces multiple charges, including trafficking in stolen identities, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription medication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mackusick is being held at the Morgan County Jail with a bond set at $6,600. Authorities have implemented a hold on him for the U.S. Marshals Service.
