The Birmingham Times' recent list of successful Alabama black women included superstar gymnast Dee Foster, the "first African American gymnast" at the University of Alabama, where she won four SEC championships, 17 All-American titles, and many other awards.

Also on the list was Laverne Cox, a biological male who was the first "openly transgender person" to be nominated for an Emmy in 2014 for his role on "Orange Is the New Black."

After excoriating the Times for including Cox, a man, on a women's list, Foster joined "1819 News: The Podcast" to further explain how this is just the latest example of a degradation of standards within the black community.

"The black community is doing so much worse now than we were even like 15 minutes after slavery. And I'm not kidding," she said.

"There was a thriving black community in the days after slavery — Frederick Douglass, in the days before the civil rights movement. There were more businesses owned, more homes owned, the family unit was intact, a mom and a dad in the home, children being raised in the church.

"I'll say the faith in the God of the Bible was paramount and sort of the crucible of how families even came to be in the black community. The common denominator was the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Foster has worked with Chad O. Jackson to expose the myths and lies surrounding Martin Luther King Jr. and to show how he may have done more harm than good to his community. However, she traced the more recent issues, particularly with the LGBTQ agenda, back to former President Barack Obama.

"He definitely had a mission and an agenda to not make black people gay, but certainly to ... liberate the debauchery ... in a Sodom and Gomorrah kind of way," Foster said.

"Hussein Obama agendized the oppression of black people, in my opinion. I think he agendized it, and he agendized it with this specific pillar, the pillar of the LGBTQ community. He agendized this to allow as much perversion as possible to be normalized. And now we're having conversations about people who are actually holding office and are legit pedophiles. Legit pedophiles. Now we're having conversations about how they get here.

"Well, we got here with one word: tolerance. That's the word. Nowhere in the Bible is the word tolerance preached by the Lord Jesus Christ. Not one time. Not one time. In fact, he was intolerant. He was intolerant of sin so much so that he was willing to die for it."
